Remote Jobs at Microsoft is paying attention. For many workers, flexible work arrangements continue to be the most requested benefit. Currently allowing 50% of its workforce to work from home, the IT giant is now accepting more applications from totally remote workers than ever before.

The wave of huge tech layoffs that dominated the employment scene in 2022 and 2023 may be abating, if Microsoft’s recent hiring drive is any indication. Currently, the Washington-based corporation is posting job openings for 3,196 positions worldwide, 1844 of which are hybrid and 937 of which are entirely remote.
 
Every week, Microsoft is also adding new positions to its staff. The opportunities that are available to 100% remote workers that have been published this month are listed below, categorized by profession.

What is it Like to Work at Microsoft?

If one is interested in a career in technology, getting a job at Microsoft is probably the ultimate goal. Although it may not have gained a reputation for its multi-story slides and multicolored bean bags (Google, we’re looking at you), Microsoft is often considered an extremely competitive workplace because of its people-focused approach and dedication to diversity and inclusion.
 
The opinions of its staff speak for themselves. Glassdoor, a job portal and corporate review site, reports that 86% of Microsoft employees would suggest working for the company to a friend, and 91% of employees approve of Satya Nadella, the company’s current CEO. This stands in contrast to 72% of Uber employees and 81% of Apple employees.
 
However, a side-by-side wage comparison on Glassdoor indicates that Microsoft’s earning potential is marginally lower than that of its main rivals, with an average software engineer salary of $151,675 at Microsoft and $181,989 at Apple.
